Abram came to see grandma at work today and he had a great big smile for me when I talked to him. Angie had quite a car ride with him, he decided he didn't like the car trip to Albert Lea but as soon as he was out of the car seat and being cuddled he was content. Angie went over to grandpa's office to feed him.
Abram's dedication was on Sunday. I know that his tiny feet will be well planted in
the ways of the Lord. As I reflect on our grandchildren I am so proud of each and everyone of them and their love for the Lord. Abram looked so grown up in his dedication outfit, quite like a little professer. Angie planned dinner out so that we would be eating soon after arriving home from church and plans went accordingly, with just a salad to make and french bread to put in the onven we were eating right at 12:30. Kenzie and Madi were thrilled to see baby Abram and Rachel finally got to hold and cuddle him. (she was sick when she and Bill came up after he was born) We had a good time visiting with Barry's family and the kids played so well together. Brian and Michelle were with us too and Michelle's little tummy is so cute, she looks great pregnant! It was a good day!
Plans for Bill and Rachel's wedding are beginning to move forward a little more swiftly these days; their wedding will be fun with a very colorful flair! I have a feeling that Bill has something extra special for us all to do, he loves games! I am excited to see the flowers get made, we plan to work on them the end of March.
Angie will be home with Abram for a couple of days. She looks radiant with that little guy! And he is so precious!

Happy Valentines Day!
On this Valentines Day I am thankful for the wonderful friends and family that I have may you be blessed with a most remarkable day!
Two Hearts
Two hearts intertwined...
Different views...
Different dreams...
Different needs...
Different wants...
Bound by a fragile string called LOVE...
Union as willed by GOD...
A journey in life...
May be pounded by the forces of nature...
May be struck by the fiercest lightning...
Yet two hearts bound by a delicate twine...
STRONG enough...
To stand the test of time.

Weekend Change of Plans...........
This weekend we ended up driving to Rochester to see Bill, Rachel and the girls. It was really nice when we left but we came back in the worst white-out I'd driven in a long time. I guess earlier there had been a 10 car pile up and several people were taken to the hospital. We really had fun at Bill's. Grandpa, the girls and Bill all played Wii together and they had a great time. Rachel and I got to catch up on the wedding plans and chit chat for awhile which was great. Madison taught us a few cute hand games so we had fun playing them with her and Kenzie and then we drove to Kasson for lunch. We had stopped at Menard's early in the day to pick up flooring for our bedrooms and on Sunday we started doing our bedroom. It went okay except for the cutting which gets to be very tedious. So, all that is left is the floor board and trim in there. Looks great! One down and two to go. Tonight my small confirmation group sets up the soup supper so I need to be at church by 5:00, service starts at 7:00 so we will be busy until then. I am looking forward to seeing my group as I wasn't with them last week. This is the 2nd week of Lenten services.

Grandma Time.........
The last two days were spent at Angie and Barry's getting some "grandma" time in with little Bram. He is quite the wide eyed, strong little boy. He has a bit of colic but Angie and Barry have it down quite well with the "shhhing" in his ear and as a last result the vacuum cleaner. I got to experiance a couple of "vacuum cleaner" comfort times - it is almost magical how the sound takes him right away from his crying. There is supposed to be a white noise machine that you can buy which mimics the vacuum, blow dryer etc. and is extremly calming to babies. surprising what they don't make. This weekend will be more "grandma" time with Bill & Rachel driving over with Kenzie and Madi. We haven't spent time with the girls since Christmas so it will be great to have them all there together. Michelle and Brian are driving down on Sunday so we will get to hear about their vacation to Florida. With the temps this weekend I am sure they will wish they were back there!
